OFFLINE EDITING
Our studio has 10 offline editing rooms equipped to the highest professional standards with Avid Media Composer, Final Cut and Adobe Premiere Pro. Each room is connected to our secure EditShare central storage system.
REMOTE EDITING
Using Emmy Award Winning Technology, HP Teradici, remote working has become the norm for us. No matter where your editors are in the world, we can provide dual screen, remote editing at the click of a button, but with the security and backup of a facility.
ONLINE EDITING
Our online facility comes complete with it’s own spacious 4K Preview Theatre perfect for final review and delivery. Using a wide range of tools within Avid, Adobe Creative Cloud, Blackmagic Davinci Resolve and Fusion we can cover all online requirements.
AUDIO DESIGN
RE-RECORDING MIXING
Audio has been at the heart of Ka-Boom since the very beginning. As sound specialists we know what it takes to deliver the highest audio standards for your production.
Our custom designed 5.1 dubbing, recording and mixing theatre comes complete with full Avid Pro Tools HDX system, C|24 console and a HD Projector for the ultimate viewing experience. We hold a full library of sound effects and Foley tracks.
ADR STAGE AND
VO BOOTH
We house Northern Irelands largest ADR Stage, allowing us to easily accommodate any size production from straightforward radio edits, to gripping TV dramas, right through to full length feature films.
Operated by industry leading talent, it comes complete with ISDN and Source Connect for remote sessions anywhere in the world. We also have a wide rage of microphones available from Sennheiser to DPA. EdiCue and EdiPrompt is our software of choice for all ADR dialogue cueing.
BASELIGHT
COLOR GRADING
Our purpose built, state of the art, grading facility offers controlled lighting and comes complete with Baselight – the worlds most powerful colour grading system.
With a wide range of advanced capabilities such as Renderless Grading, Varispeed Handling, XML Conform, DCP Rendering, Subtitling for DCP Mastering and Dolby Vision True to life Video for HDR, we can provide expert grading for colour that makes a lasting visual impact.
CONTENT HANDLING
At the core of our facility is the EditShare storage and asset management system. It offers a full end to end solution from remote viewing and edit / assembly to full LTO archive. Our facility sits on a 500MB internet connection providing greater flexibility for remote users.
